The Human Resources Manager will be solely and directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and execution of the HR function at Forward Health Group, Inc. This role originates and leads all Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The HR Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization’s strategic goals.

This role maintains and enhances the organization’s HR functions by planning, implementing, and evaluating the policies, programs, and practices of the department. The person in this role must be a strategic business partner to senior leadership, a mentor and teacher to managers and staff, and a change agent for improvement of human resource management processes and systems of human capital development. This role has primary responsibility for developing effective and efficient process-oriented approaches to recruitment, selection, retention, development, and assessment of FHG staff.


  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources
  • 5+ years of professional Human Resources experience, preferably in a solo HR Generalist role or
    HR Department of One
  • Direct hands-on experience in multiple aspects of Human Resources including but not limited to
    leadership and employee development, recruitment, compensation, labor relations, employment
    law, payroll and benefits administration
  • HR certification a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration
  • Thorough and up to date knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage and prioritize work with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships with employees at
    all levels of the organization

Director, Health System Channels & Workflow Improvement |  Department: Client Delivery & Development  |  Madison, WI

The Director, Health System Channels & Workflow Improvement is responsible for:

  1. Overseeing the installation of Forward Health Group’s (FHG) software solutions for health system clients.
  2. Developing, maintaining, and growing FHG client relationships.
  3. Developing and executing strategies to grow existing client and new client revenue.
  4. Leading and mentoring non-reporting Client Delivery staff.

This client-facing position plays a critical role in client development, partnering with FHG clients to develop use cases, generate case studies, and support reference checks. The Director is responsible for ensuring that FHG has strong KLAS references among health system clients. The Director will be the FHG lead with health system clients, driving expansion of FHG solutions, increasing FHG’s installation footprint across the client ecosystem, and supporting contract renewals/expansions with the client. Additionally, this role is responsible for strong client delivery processes and execution.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field required, Master’s strongly preferred
  • 10 years of experience in a healthcare environment (working in hospitals or clinics or as a vendor serving hospitals or clinics) with focused experience in clinical workflows, strategic client development, and complex project leadership. Understanding of software development life cycle preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health system and health plan operations and workflows gained from work experience in or with providers, payers, and health IT vendors required
  • Demonstrated experience with C-level relationship development and management (e.g. CEO, COO, CMO, etc.) and effective communication across all levels of an organization
  • Experience developing and monitoring KPI metrics at the organization and project levels
  • Working knowledge of clinic and hospital workflows, clinical terms, clinical outcomes and improvement, and claims data

The Data Analyst develops, validates, and supports the accurate and timely delivery of data to our clients. S/he will achieve those goals by using proficiencies in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from client source files to database tables and developing algorithms and logic for measures of quality, safety, efficiency, and financial performance. The Data Analyst will perform unit tests to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables and will resolve identified and reported issues.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in technical or other related fields of study (or equivalent work experience)

  • 1+ years of related data management, analysis and/or programming experience

  • Previous experience in manipulating and analyzing data sets with analytics tools (e.g. R, Python, MySQL, SAS)

  • Experience in healthcare industry is a plus, but not required
